Zulu Guardian is an object rug with a commanding presence, translating the symmetry and spiritual significance of African shield motifs into a richly textured contemporary composition. A central figure of interlocking arches and concentric circles dominates the surface, its forms rendered in finely striped ribbons of charcoal, bronze, and warm taupe, evoking the patina of hand-carved stone. The first colorway (TR12013 / TR12015) moves in a deep, earthy palette of umber and olive khaki with chalky white accents; the second (TR12014 / TR12016) brightens considerably to cream, pale gold, and ivory, opening the motif to lighter living concepts.
